Cottage West – Two-Bedroom Cottage in Lancaster County Amish Country
Cottage West is a two-bedroom cottage on the grounds of After Eight Bed & Breakfast, set about 30 yards from the main house at the lower level of a three-unit split-level annex. It sits along the edge of the Amish farm fields, giving it a quieter, more private setting than the rooms in the main house.
The cottage includes a living room with cable TV, a full kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stove, and coffeemaker, and a dining nook — enough to prepare meals and settle in for a longer stay. One bedroom has a king bed with fine linens, and the second has a queen bed. The bathroom includes a tub/shower combination and a hairdryer. Furnishings are a mix of antiques and country decor that fit the character of the surrounding area.
A full homemade breakfast is included each morning and served at your private table in the main house dining room. Individual heating and cooling controls are included.
The inn is located in Gordonville near Ronks, about 10 minutes from Sight & Sound Theatre, Strasburg Rail Road, Bird-in-Hand, and Intercourse.
Cottage West is a good fit for small groups or two couples traveling together who want more space, a private setting, and the flexibility of a full kitchen while staying in Lancaster County's Amish Country.
